Production 1-Organization

            To start our portfolio project Lanie and I are going to begin with organization. We want to make this a good  project,  so we don’t want to be unorganized or all over the place.  We wanted to start by talking to  each other  on when we are going to do our blog posts and what should get done each week. As well as explore InDesign more and get to know how to use the tools because we are unfamiliar with the software. We played around with many tools such as the text box's, coloration, and inserting images so we are familiar with it. For the blog posts we plan to make our two blog posts spread out between the week so that we are not  doing them day after day. We are going to start by choosing our athletes. We are both writing on the sport we play so we each know the athletes. Storyboarding

       Creating my storyboard was an interesting experience. There were ups and downs  and  many emotions  during this process of storyboarding. Something that was challenging was trying to think about how we  must  take t he pictures of the athlete's and changing our outline because the idea we had befor e  would not work with  Lanie and I’s  lives and schedule's because we would have to travel and we wanted to make something good that wouldn’t cause us an insane amount if stress.  We were going to do women ’ s  major league sports but once we found out we had to take the pictures and interview the women ourselves we realized th a t was not an optio n  in our position. T h is is because Lanie and I are  both student athletes ourselves, so we are very busy.
