  When embarking upon a  new endeavor in a field ripe with choices, creativity and a creative process is very important.  Without creativity any proj ect or assessment you do, it will be boring, hard to watch/read and not interesting. When you have  a good creative  process,  it will help  you stay organized and keep the viewer/ reader interested and invested.  In the Ted Talk we watched last week the host talked about how everyone needs to know where they get their best ideas. This is because  it is part of his creative process and he is suggesting that everyone do the same in theirs. He mentioned that some people might get their best ideas in the shower, talking a walk, in class, or even on the toi let.        My initial impressions of InDesign and Premier Pro after  participating in the  class tutorials  were there were  many  pros and cons of both  software's . I prefer  InDesign  better personally because it was easier for me to use because  all of  the components and features were  very obvious  and easy to locate . By this I mean that I  didn’t have to search for many different tools compared to Premier Pro.   In InDesign everything  was very easy access and  less complicated.  From our practices and watching videos in class  I think I will do better in InDesign because  it will be easier for me to use and being more successful by saving time on figuring it out and messing with the systems.  This will help me have a better project and save me the stress of figuring out the software.        I have decided to do a magazine cover  for my por...

                 I have chosen to work with a group on my portfolio this year in Media Studies.  I have chosen to work with one other person  rather than a large group .  I think it would  be more fun to work with another person  and I think our project would be better compared to doing it alone  or with a big group .  With big groups I think that there is always tension or disagreement at times and I think I would be more efficient and successful with one other partner.  I think this because we can see how each other work together, get things done, and we could  be more successful if we chose the right partner.    For my portfolio I have chosen to work with Lanie Phillips.  I've chose Lanie because she is very productive, hardworking, and positive.  Lanie and I are also friends, so we have worked together in the past successfully.  Some of Lanie’s strengths are stayin...
